“불신자였던 저는 2018년도에 엄마를 통해서 복음을 받았고, 하나님께서는 사진작가라는 나의 업에서 내가 누려야하는 진짜 행복을 찾게 하셨습니다. ‘광야의 빛’ 작품을 통해서는 어려움들 속에서도 항상 쉴만한 물가를 예비 하신 하나님을 표현했고, “Transcending”은 나에게 찾아오신 하나님의 은혜를 표현했습니다. ‘Sovereign Blessing’은 하나님의 섭리가 가득차 있는 현장을 표현했습니다.”

“I was a non-believer in Jesus Christ, but I received the gospel through my mother in 2018. God has opened my eyes to see the real happiness as a photographer. Through the ‘Light in the Wilderness’ work, I expressed God who always prepared a waterside where I could rest even in the midst of difficulties, and “Transcending” expressed God’s grace that came to me. ‘Sovereign Blessing’ expressed the scene full of God’s providence.”

“해학적이고 풍자적인  방향을 가진 작품을 만들었습니다. 그림 안에 인물은 인류를 의미하고, 하나님의 약속의 증표인 무지개를 배경으로 표현했습니다.  행성을 발판 삼아 일어선 Super baby의 모습은 펜데믹 이후에 하나님께서 주시는 언약속에서 다시 회복할 인류에 대한 긍정적인 메시지를 전하려 했습니다.  또한 경제력을 회복하여 전도와 선교에 쓰임 받고자 하는 것을 표현했습니다.”

“My work is made in a  humorous and satirical direction. The figures in the painting represent mankind, and the rainbow is the sign of God's promise represented in the background. The image of Super Baby standing up on the planet was intended to convey a positive message about humanity recovering in the covenant God gives after the pandemic. It also expresses the desire to restore economic power and be used for evangelism and missions.”

“그리스도의 빛, 성삼위 하나님의 빛이 작품을 통해 전세계에 비춰지는 것을 생각하며,  작은 십자가를 끊임없이 작품 안에 만들어 넣었습니다. 창조의 빛이라는 주제 속에서 시공간 초월을 표현하기 위해 우주의 무한한 공간 속에서 하나님의 은혜가 끊임없이 내리는 모습을 만들었습니다. 최근에는 플렛폼, 파수망대, 안테나라는 메시지의 흐름속에서 렘넌트들이 전 세계에 흩어져 있습니다. 하나님과 소통하는 안테나의 역활을 하는 이들의 고백은 어떠한 내용을 담고 있는가? 라는 질문을 가지고 작품을 구상했고, 변형이 가능한 외장 조형물을 더하여 관람객은 이러한 내용과 어떠한 관계를 현재 가지고 있는지를 표현 할 수 있도록 했습니다.”

“Thinking of the light of Christ and the light of the Holy Trinity being illuminated throughout the world through the work, I constantly made a small cross into the work. In order to express the transcendence of time and space under the theme of the light of creation, God's grace was constantly shining in the infinite space of the universe. Recently, remnants are scattered all over the world in the flow of messages called platforms, watchtowers, and antennas. What are the contents of the confessions of those who play the role of antennas communicating with God? I conceived the work with the question, and added a deformable exterior sculpture so that the audience could express what kind of relationship they currently have with these contents.”

“비통한 순간들에도 언제나 나아갈 길을 보여주시는 빛이 있습니다. 우리는 지키시고 위로 하시며 평안케 하는 빛입니다. 작품을 통해서 드러나지 않은 지키심과 위로와 평안을 향해 우리의 마음은 항상 나아가고 있습니다.

“This piece is about heartbroken times but can always a light there to show the way to this light that makes you feel safe, comforting, nostalgic etc. It looks like this painting has no contents of feeling safe but the heart always search for the light."

“No matter what color glasses you put on in the world, the watchman, who is the image of God, sees and interprets everything with the eyes of the Gospel. The light of Christ transmitted through this watchman expressed salvation and renewal to sinners.”
